The Access Card Scheme
Need support from another person to attend? If you require an Essential Companion as a reasonable adjustment because of a disability or access requirement, their ticket is free. We use Nimbus Disability’s Access Card and Digital Access Pass to confirm eligibility for a free Essential Companion ticket with WillenOnIce, helping us provide the support people need and to keep it fair for everyone who needs it.

Confirm your access requirements
If you need to confirm your eligibility for the Essential Companion ticket, you can apply for either a free Digital Access Pass, which can only be used with WillenOnIce or an Access Card if you would like to apply for broader recognition. Pick whichever suits you. You can apply for the free option now and upgrade any time.
Digital Access Pass
Free / 3 years- Same checks as the Access Card, at no cost to you
- No physical card. You get an email with your ID number
- Works with our validator, and online booking portal, and is specific to WillenOnIce
Access Card
£15 / 3 years- Recognised by thousands of UK venues and ticketing systems
- A physical card with discreet symbols for your requirements
- Upgrade from a free registration during the application
How to apply
Apply through the WillenOnIce form: describe your access requirements, request any relevant symbols and upload any supporting evidence. You can choose the free Digital Access Pass or a full Access Card route on this form.

Already have an Access Card or WillenOnIce Digital Access Pass?
No need to apply again. When you add an Essential Companion ticket to your basket, enter your name and ID number exactly as they appear on the card or confirmation email.
The person using the Access Card or Digital Access Pass must also have their own admission ticket in the basket to continue to checkout.
